Report cards are mailed.
I have culled the books and prepared for new titles for the shelves. I have rearranged for a rug space, though we will be too many of us to meet in one place. I have brought in ten more chairs, and replaced a few smaller ones with large ones for our larger bodies.
I have taken down the spare decor, brought home the plants to summer in my backyard. I have put bones back in his closet and wrapped giraffe in plastic bags.
It is lonely in the building, in this room. It makes it easy to go and start my summer. I trust yours is started already.
